Actenum signs agency agreement with leading Middle East systems integrator
Vancouver BC, 26-Oct-10
Actenum Corporation, a Canadian software company providing collaborative planning and scheduling solutions to the energy industry, and Gulf Data International Co. LLC (gDi), an information technology provider headquartered in Abu Dhabi, UAE, today announced the signing of an exclusive agency agreement for the Middle East.
The new agreement enables gDi to promote and sell Actenum's products—and provide technical support to Actenum customers—in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, and other countries in the region. As well, gDi's professional services team will participate in the implementation of Actenum products.
The agreement will further expand Actenum's presence in the Middle East, and builds on gDi's existing expertise and services to regional oil and gas firms.
“We are delighted to establish this relationship with gDi.” said Paul Maurer, Actenum CEO. “Our expertise in assisting oil and gas companies with complex operational planning and scheduling, together with gDi's established capabilities and regional business relationships, provides us with mutual benefits and will allow us to serve our local customers more effectively.”
“Actenum software solutions are unique in the oil and gas sector, and we are pleased to be working with a company that enjoys a reputation for innovation.” said Hamdi Atta, gDi Managing Director. “We look forward to applying our capabilities and knowledge of the local business environment to this relationship, and anticipate success for both parties as we move ahead.”
