Actenum Corporation announces the renaming of key solution offering

Actenum Corporation announces today that it is renaming its Actenum Rig Activity Scheduler (RAS) product to DSO/Upstream. The name change will take effect with the upcoming production release of Version 4.0 of the product.
The change of name is a result of significant engineering efforts over the past year, and reflects the expanded capabilities of the latest product version. DSO/Upstream is a complete and comprehensive solution for planning and scheduling in the upstream environment, and it addresses a broad range of upstream operations: exploration programs, drilling, completions, and workovers, logging, fracturing, and well servicing, for example.
Data management and reporting features are now fully integrated into DSO/Upstream, together with a new user interface and a rich set of user-configurable options that address organizational and personal preferences. And DSO/Upstream now provides enhanced management and decision-support functions that increase the efficiency and productivity of upstream business processes.
Production release of DSO/Upstream Version 4.0 will be in January 2011.
